The Waldhotel Arosa team invites you to enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif at the hotel bar before settling down to a five-course gala meal prepared by head chef Gerd Reber. We kindly ask you to wear elegant clothing.

Traditional curling (winter)

"Eisstockschießen" is a traditional version of curling which has been played in the Alps for centuries. We invite you to try out this fun sport suitable for all the family during your stay at the Waldhotel Arosa.

Yoga with Nicole Gibbard (December until late March)

  • 8:15 until 9:15 for everyone
  • 17:30 until 18:30 for Waldhotel guests
  • 18:30 until 19:30 for guests not staying the night

Horse-drawn carriage rides (in the main winter season)
There is no better way to enjoy the snowy winter landscape than on a horse-drawn carriage ride. Settle down under a warm blanket and let the landscape glide past as you sip on a mug of hot tea or mulled wine.

Discover the latest trends and learn the secret to making a perfect cocktail.

Traditional evening
Let our kitchen team take you on a culinary journey through the Grisons region of Switzerland. You can enjoy a wide range of local specialties rounded off with a dessert buffet. Traditional live music is provided throughout the evening by the band "Butzerin" (main winter season only).

Wine tasting
Learn more about the wines of the world at our wine-tasting session. Our wine cellar has more than 400 different wines, including a number of rare vintages.

Châteaubriand (summer only)
Châteaubriand from alpine cattle, sliced on the table in front of diners and served with potato gratine and fresh vegetables as well as sauce bernaise in the "Kachelofa-Stübli" fine dining restaurant.
